\"\"<\/a>I have gone mad.\u00a0 Clearly.\u00a0 Deeply.\u00a0 There are no controls to this.\u00a0 No head room.\u00a0 But there are fans and snoring dogs.<\/p>\n

How many sanitizing washes are in the life of a dishwashing machine?<\/p>\n

When met with disorder.\u00a0 Met with relentlessness.\u00a0 When both join up and a kitchen rodent is involved, reason, judgement, sacrality turn impure.<\/p>\n

No, I take that back, common sense is thrown out with the bath towel and the pasta roller.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t say this out loud but I say innumerable times, why is this happening to me?<\/i><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve left out of the confessional the pox I put on someone else\u2019s house.<\/p>\n

A politician.\u00a0 You wouldn\u2019t think, in this case, the pox would boomerang.<\/p>\n

And this is how far I\u2019ve landed from the obvious.\u00a0 A rainy winter after a 5-year drought.\u00a0 A faulty cat door (no cat lives here now, another story) and an apparent ingress.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t co-exist with this species.\u00a0 I am not a turd-in-my-silverware-drawer kind of human.\u00a0 I don\u2019t forgive tiny bite marks in heirloom multi-colored plum tomatoes.<\/p>\n

Madness is individual.\u00a0 Dripping water does not seem torture.\u00a0 I\u2019ve had a native black tarantula fall on to my head without falling to tarantism.<\/p>\n

This is where frantic, frenzied, ferocious has the makings of tattoo.\u00a0 Where the live trap solicits a tee-hee, haw-haw, cackle.\u00a0 Where I stalk the reaper and the answer is me.<\/p>\n

Many times, I have had a hummingbird fly in.\u00a0 Sample several rooms, go all the way to the apex.\u00a0 Gentle, unflappable, composed.<\/p>\n

I assist, waving a red dish towel beyond the open door.<\/p>\n
