\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>her weight bends low<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>in a graceful arc.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tick waits<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>flat-bellied<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>with strong legs<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>in delicate grasp<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>of profound patience.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tick waits<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>keeps her poise<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>the vigil of desire<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>in deep silent shade<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>or back-cracking sun.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tick waits<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>for someone warm-blooded<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>to brush unknown against <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>her optimistic body<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>and carry her home.<\/span><\/p>\n
