Read a poem.

Contemplate a rock.

Buy a book.

Write a limerick.

Sing in traffic.

Send someone a poem.

Say “yes” to every proposition for one whole day.

Say “no” to every proposition for one whole day.

Talk to an animal.

Dance.

Read a poem to a child.

Watch ants.

Have an orgasm.

Light candles.

Stand outside, close your eyes, and listen for five minutes.

Take a poet to lunch.

Get your hands dirty.

Take a moonbath.

Bake bread or make a pie.

Lunge at something.

Memorize a poem.

Make a heartfelt toast.

Copy this list and pass it along.

Put a flower on your desk.

Take a long walk alone.

Read or recite a poem to a co-worker.

Tell a lie.

Get acquainted with the night.

Sit in or against a tree and write a letter.

Choose two things from this list and do them again.
